What are the benefits?

Welcome Pack
Upon registration of a Team, all schools will receive a welcome pack containing:

  • Sky Rainforest Rescue Schools Challenge poster
  • Rainforest DVD
  • Wrist bands for students
  • Badges for students

Prizes
In addition to helping to protect the rainforests teams can become our Team of the Week winning a Flip Video Ultra Camcorder second generation with 4GB memory. Explorer teams accumulate points as they progress through the programme.

Teams completing a Challenge before the end of the 2012 summer term will be eligible to win a £1,000 cash prize in each country – England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. One Team from these winners will win the Overall Grand Prize which includes the opportunity to develop your school’s ideas and present them to influential decisions makers. Sky will also make a short film about your experience.

Improve your Eco-Schools status
Completing the Sky Rainforest Rescue Schools Challenge can help you achieve either Bronze or Silver Eco-Schools status depending on your actions. It will also contribute significantly towards achieving your Green Flag status, particularly with Eco-School’s compulsory energy focus.
