Sky Rainforest Rescue is helping to protect the Amazon rainforest, home of the jaguar by making the forest more alive than dead.

How your money helps

WWF and Sky are supporting the Acre State Government to help save one billion trees in the Amazon rainforest, home of the jaguar. We are doing this by working with local people to give them an alternative to cutting down trees in an area threatened by increased deforestation. Funds raised through Sky Rainforest Rescue will help to improve people's lives by supporting sustainable farming methods along and around the BR-364 Highway and promote long-term conservation of the rainforest in Acre.

Every pound you donate is twice as valuable because Sky has pledged to match all donations, up to the overall campaign target of £4m*.

Your donation will help support the following schemes, which will help protect the rainforest and the species that live there:

Rewards for sustainable property management

Improving market opportunities for sustainable products

Working to address the drivers of deforestation

*All money raised through Sky Rainforest Rescue will be donated to WWF-UK, charity registered in England and Wales number 1081247 and in Scotland number SC039593. Sky will donate a further £1 to WWF-UK to match each £1 raised through Sky Rainforest Rescue, and has guaranteed to contribute a total of £2,000,000.
