What's our aim?

Through Sky Rainforest Rescue we aim to help save one billion trees in the state of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon: improving livelihoods for poor families, protecting habitats for threatened species and helping to combat climate change.
Where is Acre?

Acre is located in the north western part of Brazil. It covers an area a bit larger than England and Wales.

Stories from Acre
Binho Marques, former State Governor of Acre, said:
With 88% of Acre covered by rainforest, we are the stewards of a precious global resource. Our aim is to ensure we develop a sustainable model for protection which works with the needs of our 2000 isolated forest local communities. Sky Rainforest Rescue is critical to our ability to do that."
